Hi everyone! Thanks for your kind Christmas messages. It's almost the new year already, so happy new year to you all. Glad you enjoyed the illuminated kangaroos - and yes, it is the same house with 'Shelby' and 'Holden'! If you look closely you'll see they've snuck in reindeer, a sleigh and a snowman amongst the palm trees.

I love the pictures you've posted. As I write from California where (yes, even in California) it got down to freezing temperatures overnight, I have to remind myself that you're in the middle of summer. Christmas in summer is difficult for me to imagine, but your pictures of Christmas lights tell me when it's the holidays, it's the holidays, no matter where you are in the world!

I always find it hard to imagine Christmas taking place in summer. All the imagery of the decorations, the lights and so on here in the UK are so much about with creating a warm glow in winter. But you have Christmas kangaroos! I love them! Now it makes sense!
Hope you are able to enjoy some of Christmas without such major payback this year.
