Sound familiar?

From a recent article about Hepatitis C:
McGuckin confirms the disapproval directed at people with HCV. “It really does exist, in social life, amongst some nurses, doctors, and other health professionals, and of course in the workplace. There’s a distinction between ‘innocent victims of disease’ and people who are deemed to have only their behaviour to blame. It’s very discouraging.”
