Happy election day!

It’s so exciting and nerve-wracking, I won’t get a moment’s rest...barracking for Barack is too important to be done with anything less than complete and earnest focus.

A big g’day to any Americans passing by, I’m sure you know how important this election is to the rest of the world. We are on the edge of our beds here, people! Vote vote vote!

Later:

Wow. Phew. Wow!

Sent text messages to everyone shouting “YES WE CAN!” Got a few back with various versions of "Eh?"

Looking forward to meeting the First Puppy.

(But v disappointed re Proposition 8.)

Hey there! We got it right this time. Such a relief. Even though it seemed like Obama was likely to win, it was still a tense night. I was terrified that it would go the other way. So...whew. All is well, politically speaking, for the first time in too long.

Hope you're lost in happy thoughts,

M

Hi M! Congratulations! What an incredible day. It was a huuuge relief, wasn't it? I was terrified, too. Everyone was saying not to worry, but Bush got in twice, so I was worried alright.
